Klang: The Goodman Project
Chicago Jazz Festival, Jackson Stage, 2pm
James' group Klang will play a set in homage to Benny Goodman, celebrating his 100 year birthday in 2009. James will rework music associated with Goodman's small groups and compose a few new tunes in celebration of the energy of that great music.
